How Voting Place Works

Voting Place is SeeZone's tool for running secure, real-time voting experiences. Whether you're crowning a winner, ranking submissions, or gathering audience feedback, here's how it works end to end.

1. Set up your contest

Creators use the "Set Up Voting" wizard to define the basics: a title, cover media, and where the contest can be watched. From there you choose a voting type - free or paid per vote - and configure the voting category and contestants.

2. Add contestants and rounds

Add contestants directly or invite participants to submit their own entries. Contests can run as a single round or multiple rounds, each with its own start and end window and a defined number of contestants advancing to the next round.

3. Voting opens

Once a contest goes live, it appears under "Ongoing Voting" on the home page. Voters can cast free votes or, for paid contests, pay per vote up to any limit the creator has set. Vote counts and standings update as votes come in.

4. Contest completes

When the voting window closes, the contest moves to "Finished Voting." Winners, runners-up, and (if configured) prizes and voter rewards are displayed on the contest's results page. Organizer and contestant contact details are only shown once a contest has completed.

5. Payouts

Creators can track earnings and payouts from their Wallet, and withdraw funds to a connected payout method once a balance is available.
